Brian Kenyon joined the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in May 1999 as Vice President of Finance and Administration. In this role he is responsible for the finance, human resources, facilities, operations, technical services and legal functions of the Museum.
Kenyon was born in Ohio and raised in Cuyahoga Falls and earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Akron in 1986. Kenyon began his career in 1986 as an auditor in the Cleveland office of Coopers & Lybrand. In 1990, he joined NACCO Industries, Inc., a manufacturing and mining company, as a Staff Accountant and advanced to the position of Manager of Shareholder Relations and External Reporting. In 1996, he left NACCO to join Signature Brands, who sold products under the Mr. Coffee, Healthometer and Pelouze brand names, as Director of Financial Analysis. Kenyon served in this role until Signature Brands was acquired by Sunbeam in the spring of 1998. Kenyon left Signature Brands to join International Total Services, Inc., a newly public company in the aviation staffing industry and served as its Vice President of Finance until joining the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in his current position.
Brian is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is the Chair of the Advisory Board to the George W. Daverio School of Accountancy at the University of Akron, a member of the Boards of the Roots of American Music and the YMCA of Greater Cleveland and a member of the Audit Committee of Greater Cleveland Partnership. Brian is also a graduate of the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2006. He currently lives in Copley, Ohio with his wife and three children.
