CBA Advisors

The CBA Advising Office provides students with many services to help ease your journey through the University. Our advisors can help you with explanations of degree requirements, clarifications of university and college policies, procedures, and services, and we can help you with academic program planning and course scheduling.

Our advisors are trained to provide you with information about our degree programs, college requirements, and university policies and referral services. Students in the CBA are not required to meet with an advisor at any specific time; however, it is recommended that a student meet with an advisor at least once an academic year. At that time, your progress toward completing degree requirements can be evaluated. Students requiring assistance in preparing a schedule for the next semester are encouraged to do so early in the current semester and prior to the beginning of registration, specifically weeks three through six.

CBA Advisors are available on a walk-in basis in CBA 260, from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Thursday and Friday, and 8:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. For Summer sessions, Advisors are available from 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Undergraduate Advising Office at (330) 972-7042 or e-mail us at ugcba@uakron.edu.
