Advising Office College of Business Administration Five-Year Rule A student must complete the requirements for a degree, as stipulated on the Degree Requirements Form, within five calendar years from the date of acceptance into the CBA. Under extenuating circumstances, this five year limit may be extended. A student must petition the Director of Undergraduate Programs to request such an exception.
In the event a student does not complete all remaining baccalaureate degree requirements within five calendar years and receives no extension, then the CBA student must complete the degree requirements that are in effect at the end of the five year time limit.
