The Finance Advisory Board of the Department of Finance of The University of Akron was created to provide a mutually beneficial interface among faculty, administration, and leaders in finance and business law professions to enrich the educational experience for students enrolled in the College of Business. The Board is comprised of up to twenty actively involved executives in the fields of finance and business law. The Board provides a vital link to the business world and provides advice and counsel in curriculum planning and course construction, assuring effective integration of real world issues into the educational experience.
