Human Resource Management has become more visible within organizations resulting from the growing realization that human resources is not just a transactional function but also has significant strategic implications in the global arena. The HR profession has become more attractive due to the need for organizations to address issues such as reduction of legal exposure, creating and maintaining a diverse work force, and employee development and retention.
