Non-degree students are eligible to take up to a maximum of 9 credits of foundation level courses while preparing to take the GMAT and gain admission to a program. Those interested in determining which foundation courses they will be required to take should contact an advisor for a transcript assessment by calling (330)972-7043. Non-degree students will need to talk to an advisor about being placed on waiting lists for foundation courses they wish to take. Students admitted to a program within the College of Business Administration are given preference for enrollment. If space is available, non-degree students will be added from the waiting list the week before classes start. Taking the GMAT and gaining admission to a CBA program will give you greater availability of classes.
The admission process for non-degree students is handled by the Graduate School. A Graduate School application, an application fee and transcripts showing a bachelor’s degree has been conferred are the only requirements for admission. Once you receive confirmation of non-degree admission you should contact a CBA advisor.
Non-degree students are not eligible to take CBA waiver exams or to hold student loans. We permit students to enroll with non-degree admission for one semester. Additional semesters of non-degree enrollment require permission from an advisor. You can contact an advisor at (330)972-7043 or gradcba@uakron.edu
