Graduation Forms, Deadlines and Exit Interview
This is a four step process:
- Complete the Advancement to Candidacy & Graduation Application for the Master’s Degree Form
Advancement to Candidacy Form (Graduate School)
The Advancement to Candidacy Form must be submitted at the CBA Graduate Advising Office, CBA 412. Facts: Facts: http://www.uakron.edu/gradsch/docs/Graduation.pdf
- Make an appointment for the 30 Minute Exit Interview with the Director of Graduate Programs. Call (330)972-7043 to schedule the appointment. The Advancement to Candidacy Form will not be forwarded to the Graduate School until you have met with the Director of Graduate Programs.
- Complete the leadership Survey
All students are asked to complete the Leadership Survey at the link below. This will help us assess how the program has assisted you in developing leadership skills. Please print out a copy, fill it out and drop it off in CBA 412 along with the Advancement to Candidacy Form.

- Complete the Educational Benchmarking – EBI- Survey (MBA students only). Contact Ms. Woodall at (330)972-7043 to get information on the EBI survey.

Advancement to Candidacy Deadlines:
February 15 for August graduation
May 15 for December graduation
September 15 for May graduation
(If these dates fall on a weekend, the forms are due on the following Monday.)
Effective Fall 2007, Graduate students are no longer required to submit a graduation application with the Graduation Office.
