| GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIPS |
A graduate assistant position is an arrangement where a graduate student works as a research assistant, computer lab assistant or instructional support assistant. In return for this, the graduate assistant is awarded a stipend and tuition benefits. Full-time graduate assistants work 20 hours per week during the semester and receive $6,000 for the academic year plus full tuition remission (up to 15 graduate credits) and a discounted parking permit. Part-time graduate assistants work 10 hours per week and receive a scholarship covering 8 credits per semester and a $3,000 academic year stipend. Graduate assistantships can be up to four semesters long, not counting summer sessions. Full-time graduate assistants may not have any additional employment outside of the CBA. Summer assistantships are generally not available.
Graduate Assistantship awards are very competitive with 8 to 10 applicants for every opening. Students with GMATS above 500 are the most likely to be considered for an award and students with the highest GMATs may be given preference.

| To apply: Submit an Application for College of Business Financial Aid Award form. One application may be submitted for all types of CBA aid. Two reference letters are required. The reference letters that you use for your application for graduate admission are acceptable for your application for financial aid. |

| GENERAL INFORMATION |
Eligibility: All award applicants must be admitted to CBA Graduate Programs to be considered for an award.
International students must hold an F-1 visa.
Application Deadlines: March 1 for fall semester
November 1 for spring semester
Calendar:
March/April fall semester awards are given.
November/December spring semester awards are given.
