Careers in Sales Management
"Nothing happens until somebody sells something." The sales function generates the revenue that enables the rest of the corporation to operate. Jobs are abundant in the field of sales. Almost all of the graduates of the Sales Management Program pursue careers in industrial or business-to-business sales. They work at leading firms throughout the U.S. and in other countries. It has been estimated that almost 10 percent of the work force in the United States works in some form of selling.
Career opportunities in sales are also expected to increase as products and services become more complex, more technical, and more expensive. Customers need the expert advice and assistance of sales representatives as they examine the numerous market offerings available.
