The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is a national professional organization open to all students, particularly human resource management majors. Students participate in Akron Area Chapter activities and annually conduct practice job interviews. The student chapter has earned the Superior Merit Award for more than 10 years.
The Society of Information Technology and E-Business (SITE): "SITE's mission is to provide members the necessary skill-sets through an Information Technology (IT) forum that will enable us to utilize cutting-edge technologies and show-case our talents."
Sigma Iota Epsilon selects its members from management majors who have completed at least one upper-level management course and have a minimum GPA of 3.00 for undergraduates and 3.25 for graduate students.
Supply Chain Student Association (SCSA): The purpose of the SCSA is to bring together Graduate and Undergraduate students interested in the field of Supply Chain Management. SCSA strives towards maximizing the educational experience of its members by providing a platform for events, discussions, professional guidance, and related activities. SCSA works towards active student involvement in gaining an edge in the field of Supply Chain Management.
