What we offer our students - Student Projects The Practicum :: Courses :: Student Projects
Taylor Institute Students recently completed the following projects:
During 2006-2007, students from the Taylor Institute helped to create and implement the Rock the Roo campaign for the E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall at the University of Akron. While this facility is widely known around the world, very few U.A. students were aware of it and its programs. The Rock the Roo campaign not only created a special website for students (and all other members of the university community) to go to for current EJT events, it also generated a list of over 3000 current student email addresses being used in an ongoing permission based email campaign. Currently, a second Taylor Institute student integrated marketing project called “Just off Broadway” is being implemented with E. J. Thomas Hall which will use a number of student events to drive more student business to the facility.
Development of a brochure for the Jewish Family Services Agency in Akron, Ohio.
Development of eMarketing and Advertising brochure for College of Business Administration Undergraduate Advising Office, The University of Akron. (740KB pdf)
National market research on subscribers and readers of mental_floss magazine. Results are being used to drive advertising sponsorship.
The evaluation and presentation of recommendations for “marketing-based” enhancements to the website for mental_floss magazine.
The development of a 12 page, 4 color student recruitment brochure for the Dean, College of Business Administration, The University of Akron.
The creation of a website for the Furnace Street Mission, an eighty year old historic social agency.
The development and implementation of an integrated marketing project for The University Park Alliance, a university, government, and business consortium.
