Certificate in Health Care Selling This program provides the student an opportunity to develop and document an understanding of selling within the health care industry, an important economic sector accounting for approximately 10% of the economic activity of the U.S. This certificate is designed to serve the needs of students preparing for careers in selling: pharmaceutical products, medical supplies and equipment, or other health care products and services.
A total of 15 credits is required for the certificate program. The student must complete 6 credit hours of required courses and 9 credit hours must be selected from a list of electives. To be granted the certificate, the student must take at least 6 credit hours in addition to any other major, minor, or certificate that has been earned. Students should contact the Office of Undergraduate Studies in Business Administration for information on transfer credit and to request that notation of the certificate be included on the student's transcript upon completion of the program.
