College of Business Administration

The College of Business Administration offers 14 minor areas of study. Each minor consists of 18 credits. In order to earn a minor, the student must maintain a 2.0 GPA in the minor area of study.

A minor may be designated at any time during the student’s career up to and including the time the degree clearance is processed. A minor will be placed on the student’s record only at the time the student receives a baccalaureate degree and only on application to the Graduation Office (330-972-8300) in Simmons Hall room 120.

With the exception of internships, courses for a minor may not be taken credit/non-credit. All credits must be earned. The student must earn at least nine credits at The University of Akron. Courses required for a minor may carry prerequisites, which must be honored before the student may enroll.
