Admission Information
GRADUATE PROGRAMS
Every person who desires to enroll in or audit any graduate credit course in the Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership must first be admitted or approved by the Graduate School. Specific Graduate School admission information and criteria can be found in the Graduate Bulletin online.
Applications for admission to the Graduate School should be submitted to the Graduate School at least six weeks (domestic) and six months (international) before the start of the term for which admission is sought in order to allow adequate time for complete processing. Application and other pertinent information can be found at the Graduate School homepage.
An official transcript from each college or university attended must also be received by the Graduate School before the application will be processed. This applies to the complete academic record, both undergraduate and graduate. Transcripts should be sent from the institutions attended directly to the Graduate School.

Exceptions to this latter requirement will be made for the qualified student who does not wish to teach or perform duties in the public schools provided the student presents or acquires an appropriate background of study or experience. Any student who exhibits a deficiency in English or other skills may be required to correct it before recommendation for an advanced degree.

UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
Bachelor’s Degree (Postsecondary Technical Education)

These requirements provide Technical Education Program majors with the breadth of knowledge they will need to make decisions in their teaching or training career. Technical Education programs do not provide for State of Ohio licensure. Students interested in teaching a subject in a technical specialty or training technique should consult a Pre-Admission advisor in Zook Hall 228, (330) 972-6970.
