Strategic Readers and Writers

Description: This workshop explores the concept of reading comprehension as a strategic process introduced in the Levels I and II SIRI workshops. Participants will engage in ongoing professional reading and in sustained electronic dialogue. Using a variety of print and electronic resources, this workshop will support teachers as they design, implement and evaluate instructional strategies. Workshop content will be consistent with Ohio English Language Arts standards and the Ohio Literacy Initiative framework.
