S.E.E. INTERNSHIP

Paid Fall 2008 Sustainability Internship

The College of Education, The College of Arts and Sciences, a local environmentally focused company, and local school districts have collaborated to provide a paid sustainability internship to eligible and seriously interested UA students.

Intern will work no more than 14 hours weekly and can set an individual schedule for the most part. Most time will be spent in various K-12 schools in NE Ohio presenting sustainability education activities or assisting in a sustainable school-wide program. Time will also be spent in sponsor’s main Kent office collaborating with other interns and with Internship Coordinator.

Interns are paid once every two weeks for the actual number of hours worked (approximately $8.30 - $9.25/hour). Length of internship is not to exceed four months but can be shortened to accommodate college/university requirements.

Interested, diligent, and self-motivated students should contact the A&S Careers Program at 330/972-5714 to schedule an interview appointment. Please bring a current Resume/Curriculum Vitae to the appointment.
