| What is Tk20? |
Tk20 is a web-based application used for the submission and grading of assignments that have been identified as portfolio assignments in education courses in teacher licensure at the undergraduate and graduate level. |
| Who uses it? |
Undergraduate and Graduate students admitted to the College of Education in Teacher Education Licensure Programs who are enrolled in courses that have portfolio assignments. |
| Exceptions |
Students in Music, Art, FCS, SLP. |
| Where to get Tk20 |
Using a web browser go to https://uakron.tk20.com and subscribe. The one-time cost of $100 will cover your use of Tk20 during your entire academic program at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. This program will be used to submit your portfolio assignments throughout your program. Tk20 can be accessed using either a Mac or PC and any web browser. |
| Username and Password |
After you subscribe to Tk20 you will receive your username and password via email within 2-3 days. This email may land in your spam mailbox. If you don’t receive your username and password within 2-3 days of subscribing you must contact us immediately at coetk20@uakron.edu to get your username and password. Don’t wait!!!!! |
| Communications to You |
All announcements will be sent to your Akron email address. If you don’t use it, then make sure you forward your Akron address to your current non-Akron email address. |
| Spam |
Check that messages you are expecting from coetk20 are not in your spam mailbox. Add coetk20@uakron.edu to your contact list or address book. |

| Training |
Training will be provided on a regular basis. The weekly training schedule will be sent to your Akron email address. |
| Practice |
Don’t know how to use it, we have set up a practice course and assignment. To get to it, subscribe to Tk20, get your username and password and log in to Tk20. This practice course will let you practice the steps to upload and attach an artifact to an assignment and submit it. |
