 Mission
The Program for Nutrition Intervention (PNI) is the service learning, research and outreach arm of the Division of Nutrition/Dietetics.
The PNI's mission is to enhance resources for our academic programs and learning opportunities for nutrition/dietetics students through service and applied research projects in our local community. Purpose and Activities
- Advocate for food/nutrition issues
- Provide leadership in resource development
- Support applied research in nutrition/dietetics
- Provide student service learning that strengthens knowledge and skills
- Enhance community food/nutrition education and intervention services
- Provide mentoring opportunities for students
Nutrition News
Nutrition News is a newsletter service of the PNI. It provides current nutrition information to the University community.
Nutrition Services
PNI offers services to students, faculty and staff who can take advantage of PNI's nutrition assessment and counseling, medical nutrition therapy, computerized menu and food intake analysis, food systems management services, and individual and group nutrition education services.
