Certificates & Minor Degrees of Study Summit College offers certificates in two forms: "Earned" and "Tested" Earned Certificates Earned Certificates are those that are given by the University of Akron and are earned by students fulfilling course requirements for the certificates. Tested Certifications Tested Certifications are those that are given by other organizations and/or companies after students pass a given test. In this area you will find links to information on either tests administered by our college, or classes to prepare you for passing tests. Minor Fields of Study The University of Akron has approved minor fields of study that may be placed on a student's record when all requirements have been completed. Please note that a minimum grade-point average of 2.0 in each minor is required. For more details see your Academic Advisor or the General Bulletin. |
