Welcome to the Crystal Room Restaurant located in Gallucci Hall (fka the Grant Street Holiday Inn) The Crystal Room Restaurant is operated by the students, faculty and staff of Summit College's Hospitality Management Program. Our menu offers a variety of excellent choices including wings, quesadillas, homemade soups, salads, specialty sandwiches, wraps, Panini’s, and daily lunch specials prepared and served by our students. Delicious! Carry-out orders are also available when you’re running the fast pace.
The Crystal Room Restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday - Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Our facility offers a comfortable "come as you are" atmosphere for everyone. We are also capable of handling any size meeting or luncheon party both large and small.
On Thursday evenings during the semester, the Restaurant Operations students will once again offer up their “Talk of the Town” dinner series where gourmet meals are served in a more formal setting. “Talk of the Town” hours are from 5:30 pm to 7:15 and reservations are accepted and recommended as seats fill up fast.
All operations - from food preparation to service, are performed by students under the close supervision of Chef Mark Kent, Chef Emeritus Alford, Professor Larry Gilpatric, Associate Professor Jamal Feerasta and Assistant Professor Timothy Mehlberg. HOURS: THE CRYSTAL ROOM IS CLOSED FOR THE SUMMER - LUNCH AND THURSDAY NITE DINNERS TO RETURN IN SEPTEMBER
