Welcome to the Crystal Room Restaurant located in Gallucci Hall

The Crystal Room Restaurant (located in Galucci Hall on Grant Street in Akron) is operated by the students, faculty and staff of Summit College's Hospitality Management Program. Our menu offers a variety of excellent choices including wings, quesadillas, homemade soups, salads, specialty sandwiches, wraps, Panini’s, and daily lunch specials prepared and served by our students. Delicious! Carry-out orders are also available when you’re running the fast pace.

The Crystal Room is open for lunch Monday - Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Click on the lunch menu below. We offer a comfortable "come as you are" atmosphere for everyone. For special events or meetings (large or small) we are at your service.

The Talk of the Town Thursday Nite dinner series is in full swing. Join us for a gourmand's dining adventure served in elegant style by our students. Each week's menu will be an exquisite dining experience. Seating(reservations highly recommended) begins at 5:30 pm through 7:15 pm.

All dining operations - from food preparation to service, are performed by Hospitality Management students under the close supervision of Chef Mark Kent, Chef Emeritus Alford, and Professor Larry Gilpatric, Associate Professor Jamal Feerasta and Assistant Professor Timothy Mehlberg.
