Mini-Bio:
Dr. Charlotte L. Burrell received her Ed.D. in Higher Education from The University of Akron in 2004. Her M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling and B. S. in Criminal Justice Studies were completed at Kent State University, where she was also inducted into Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities and Alpha Kappa Mu Honorary Society. Currently serving as the Assistant to the Dean, Summit College, The University of Akron. Formerly, held the positions of Assistant and Associate Director in the Office of Student Financial Aid, where she was awarded The University of Akron’s Division of Student Affairs Outstanding Contribution to Customer Service Award. Dr. Burrell is also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, Akron Leadership Forum, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and serves on the board of the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Akron.
