How is College Tech Prep Administered?

Consortia are the structure through which College Tech Prep is implemented throughout Ohio. Each consortium is comprised of at least one public community college, public technical college or branch campus offering technical education associate degree programs; one or more vocational educational planning districts (called VEPDs), including all associate schools or branch campus offering technical education.

Middle and high-school-age students are urged to contact their respective school counselors as to their local College Tech Prep program offerings.

How is College Tech Prep Funded?

College Tech Prep programs are funded through a combination of federal, state, and local funds. The programs are administered jointly by the Ohio Board of Regents and the Ohio Department of Education.
