The majority of careers available today require technical skills. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 65% of our future employment needs will require people to have vocational or technical training. The employment of technicians and related support workers is projected to grow 20% by 2006.
Students learn better and enjoy the classes when applied methods are used to teach subjects like physics and math. About half of all College Tech Prep students in high school and college say their grades have improved since enrolling in College Tech Prep.
More students are making plans to attend a college or university. The decision to attend a college was a "change" from their prior plans for about half of the College Tech Prep students. |
