The First Year Experience Mentor Program
The First Year Experience Mentor Program is sponsored by the Associate Provost for Student Academic Success, Student Affairs, and Summit College. This program will provide the opportunity for first-year students to build relationships, ease the transition to college, thus assisting in the retention and graduation of college students. The goals of the program are:
- To promote students’ self-confidence
- To personalize the university experience
- To help students take advantage of campus resources
- To foster personal, professional and academic growth
- To increase cultural awareness
