Bring whatever materials you have related to your current writing project. Bring the actual writing assignment, your notes, your drafts, and your instructor’s feedback. If you are working with a textbook or articles, bring them as well.

Do I need to have a draft written before I come to Bierce Writing Lab?

Tutors in Bierce Writing Lab work with writers at all stages of the writing process, so you don’t need to have a draft to come. The tutors can show you invention techniques to help you get started. However, it is important that you bring your assignment and paper requirements. Those will help you and your tutor generate ideas and focus.
