Quaker Square Inn

The Quaker Square in is nearly full for the Symposium dates. If you are interested in a room there please call the Inn directly at 330-253-5970 to see if they can find a room for you. Be sure to mention you are with the 84th Colloid and Surface Science Symposium. If they are full they can direct you to alternative hotel accomodations nearby (about 4 blocks further walking distance).

However, the University dormitory rooms are in very new buildings, are quite close to the meeting venue, and are very reasonably priced. We urge you to consider them as an alternative to hotel housing.

On-Campus accommodations in the Residence Halls

If you'd prefer to stay on campus, The Office of Residence Life and Housing has several options;

• 1 person room with a private bath  - $37.98 per person/night
• 2 person room with a shared bath - $27.13 per person/night
• 2 person room with a shared bath down the hall - $20.89 per person/night

Each reservation includes includes: 1 bed, 1 pillow, 1 blanket, 1 pillowcase, 2 sheets, 3 towels, and 3 washcloths

For your convenience, you can sign up for accommodations on campus as part of your general registration.

If you have ALREADY REGISTERED and need now to make a dormitory housing reservation, use the registration system to put in a "second" reservation, but choose the "$0 plenary/keynote speaker" registration option and continue on to make your dormitory reservations.
