Residual ACT Information and Registration

The Residual ACT is the same as the National ACT, except we stencil score the exam. Thus the results are available within five days of the test administration. The Residual ACT will be administered on the following dates:

December 19, 2009 (note that the date was changed from Dec. 12 to Dec. 19)
February 20, 2010
April 17, 2010
May 8, 2010
June 26, 2010
July 31, 2010
October 16, 2010
December 4, 2010

You can register for the Residual ACT one of two ways. One is to print the registration form and mail it along with payment to The University of Akron. The address is on the registration form. A second method is to register using a credit card and our web page.

Your fee and registration form must be in the cashier’s office by the Friday before the test. If you cannot meet that deadline, you may come as a standby the day of the test with a payment of $60.00 ($40 plus a $20 walk-in fee). Standbys MUST arrive by 8:00 a.m. There are no refunds after the test date and if you do not show for the test after registering, you will have to pay the fee again to take the test. If you have additional questions, call Testing Services at 330-972-7084.
