The MAT is a 120 item, one hour test. "The MAT scaled scores currently range from 200 to 600 with a mean (average) of 400. The percentile ranks on your personal Score Report indicate the percentage of examinees in the norm group who received a scaled score lower than yours. Percentile rank ranges from 1 to 99." A "passing" score depends on the requirements of the universities to which you are applying. Please contact the schools to which you are applying to find out what score you need.
