Our sport psychology staff helps athletes with many areas including:

Our staff can address these sport psychology concerns in a variety of ways including:

Individual consultation for Student-Athletes
SPEAR Group
Sport Performance Enhancement And Rehabilitation Group gives Student-Athletes a safe environment to provide and receive support to each other, as well as learning healthy coping skills. Student-Athletes enduring an injury will benefit most from this group.
Biofeedback Training
Biofeedback is a method used for learning how to consciously improve your body’s response to stress through moment-by-moment information provided by interesting audio and visual computer displays.
Team Consultation & Workshops
College Survival Kit
Includes sport specific workshops How to Win the Mental Game and When the Last Game Is Over, designed to improve sport performance and aid the athlete in the transition process into retirement. Call us for dates and times.

Referral Process:

Referrals can be made by contacting Dr. Eric Hayden at 330-972-7082 or by stopping by the Counseling, Testing, & Career Center office in 306 Simmons Hall.

Office hours for the 2007-2008 Academic year are:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Tuesday 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
