Testing Services The University of Akron maintains an extensive Testing Service as part of the services of the Counseling, Testing and Career Center. The Services are staffed by two testing specialists and one psychologist. There are a number of testing services available. Download our PDF Proctor Sheet for On Campus Testing by clicking here. - Residual ACT Registration
- You can register on the web, or a registration form can be downloaded (its a PDF form). If you can't do either, then call our office at 330-972-7084 and we will send you a registration form. The Residual ACT is a special ACT that is good only at the University of Akron. The test dates are never on the same dates at the National ACT. Unlike the National ACT, where you register with ACT in Iowa, registration for the Residual ACT takes place at the University of Akron. You can register for the test until the end of the Tuesday before the exam. We stencil score the answer sheets before sending them to ACT, so your scores will be at the Admissions Office within several work days.
