National tests at UA

What national tests does The University of Akron administer?

UA is a test site for a number of national testing programs. These include:

  • ACT
  • SAT
  • Praxis (NTE core and specialty tests and PPST)
  • GRE (subject exams only)
  • LSAT
  • Residual ACT: A special version of the ACT that can be scored immediately at The University of Akron. 

We do not administer the MCAT or GMAT. If you stop by Testing Services, you can pick up a booklet with extensive information about these tests.
