Thermodynamics of multi-component polymer systems (block copolymers, graft copolymers, polymer blends); ion-conducting polymers for proton exchange membranes; directed self-assembly of nano-structured and hierarchically ordered materials; anionic polymerization and chemical modification of polymers.
