Associate Professor in the Department of Polymer Science, Dr. Toshikazu Miyoshi, has been making a difference at The University of Akron for over seven years. His work has been published more than fifty times in Japan and the United States. He was awarded the JPS Fellowship in 1997 and the Polymer Society of Japan’s Young Scientist Lecture Award in 2008, and now he has shared with us some information about his life and career here at the College of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering.
Elizabeth Lewis is currently a doctoral candidate and a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Akron. She has served as the president of the Polymer Engineering Student Organization (PESO) and currently has plans to pursue a career in a national laboratory after graduation.
