Each year, The University of Akron distributes approximately $17 million in scholarships to students, thanks to more than 1,300 funds established through the kindness and generosity of thousands of UA friends, alumni, corporations, and foundations.
The University of Akron, in fact, has the largest endowment of any public university in northern Ohio and is pleased for the opportunity to give talented, deserving students the chance to study – and improve their lives.
All scholarships are distributed through the University’s Office of Student Financial Aid. Students interested in applying for a scholarship may visit the Financial Aid webpage, call 330-972-7032, or e-mail finaid@uakron.edu.
Please note: The Department of Development does not accept applications for or distribute scholarships.
