The participation of tap students will be determined by the tap faculty and Dance Institute manager based on the current staging of this section. Rehearsals are scheduled during and in coordination with regularly scheduled classes. The Snow Maiden is Dance Institute’s full-length story ballet performed every other year during the winter season with professional wardrobe and technical production staff and support. A Snow Maiden Fee is required from each student. The fee and the performance dates are listed below. Additional details of student participation in this production are distributed by the Dance Institute office.

Dance Institute's Work Summary is a presentation of class exercises and/or repertoire that have been prepared throughout the semester and created expressly to represent the vocabulary and training goals of each level. DI Tap students who are enrolled in ballet classes will dance their Tap Work Summary the same day/time of their ballet Work Summary presentation. Tap Only students should contact the office for the day of their Work Summary performance. Additional information about all Work Summary performances will be distributed separately.
