Provost announces strategic investment
program and call for proposals
The Achieving Distinction program is a long-term strategy, representing a projected 10-year investment. It focuses on the development of relevant, connected and productive research capacity in tandem with meaningful and long-term relationships with strategic partners. It points to the increased impact and influence UA can have on regional solutions, health care and medicine, the human condition, and innovative technologies when we work with our vital partners to leverage resources.
Interdisciplinary research proposals will be the primary criterion for this strategic investment plan. Proposals must address quality of life via knowledge generation and its application through innovation and entrepreneurism and student success.
In addition, proposals must be aligned directly with the pathways and aspirational goals of Vision 2020 and must be multidisciplinary in scope.
