course site. A link to the survey has been posted in the News Widget. Your feedback is important. The survey has fewer than 20 questions.
Documents highlighting the new features of version 8.3 of the Springboard Learning Environment have been posted in the Resources for Instructors course site under content.
WebCT will be taken offline on June 30, 2008, when the current license expires. The content of the archived courses will be accessible to instructors for a minimum of three years per the University's rule for retention of electronic records. If you require assistance in accessing an archived WebCT course, please send an email to email@example.com.

Springboard upgrade coming May 14
Springboard will be offline and unavailable on Wednesday, May 14 to allow technicians to install an upgrade to version 8.3 of the learning environment. They also will perform routine maintenance. The system will be operational by 7 a.m. on May 15.
Instructors using Springboard for the first time during summer are encouraged to attend training sessions provided by Software Training Services. Additional sessions have been provided to accommodate your schedule.
Course shells have been created for all sections of summer 2008 courses and fall 2008 courses. Content from WebCT has been moved over, and it is awaiting upload to the site by the course instructor.
Student access to courses is determined by course end dates as set by the instructor. To confirm your course end dates, check: Edit Course > Course Offering Information.
Course sites in Springboard will not be archived and removed from the server at the end of the semester. Course sites will remain on the server and the instructor will have access to their course materials.
Instructors who have students with a grade of in-progress or incomplete who may require access to the course site after the end of semester should contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance in configuring your course site to meet this need.
