On May 8, the Board of Trustees announced promotions for three College of Education faculty.
- Dr. Victor Pinheiro (Sport Science & Wellness Education) was promoted to Professor. He joined the College of Education faculty in 1989 and has been the Chair of the department since 2005.
- Dr. Denise Stuart (Curricular & instructional Studies) was promoted to Professor. She joined the College of Education faculty in 2001. Her area of expertise is Literacy Education.
- Dr. Ingrid Weigold (Counseling), received tenure and a promotion to Associate Professor. She joined the College of Education in 2008 and teaches in the Counseling Psychology program.
