Department of Counseling celebrates award winners

Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) has announced their 2013 chapter award winners. Kudos to the award winners from the College of Education’s Alpha Upsilon Chapter:

  • Terra Howell - Outstanding Doctoral Student Award
  • Asya Gough - Outstanding Master’s Student Award
  • Jessica Headley - Outstanding Research/Writing Award
  • Dr. Bernie Jesiolowski - Outstanding Supervisor Award
  • Terra Howell - Fellowship Award

It is recognized that these individuals are committed to upholding the CSI mission “to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling.” The Alpha Upsilon Chapter recognizes their high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence.
 
CSI is an international honor society that values academic and professional excellence in counseling. They promote a strong professional identity through members (professional counselors, counselor educators and students) who contribute to the realization of a healthy society by fostering wellness and human dignity.

The recipients will be provided with their individual awards at the Alpha Upsilon Chapter induction/awards ceremony during Spring 2013 semester.
