Technology Facilities

There are three main computer labs in Zook Hall as described below. There are several technology-enhanced classrooms used for teaching purposes and a fully developed distance learning classroom.  Call us at (330) 972-5316 to reserve a room!

Students may also borrow laptops or digital cameras for on-campus use.  A University ID, second form of ID, and university email account are required.  Stop in Zook 435 to make arrangements!

  • Indiana University School of Education - The IST program at IU is superlative, as are many of the other programs offered by the School of Education at IU.
  • San Diego State University EDWEB - The design of their website is interesting and there are many links to other programs - in particular the Education First project using videoconferencing technology.

Groups and Individuals

  • InTro (Instructional Technology On-Line) - provides a clearing house for electronic articles on IT.
  • Theory into Practice (TIP) - a tool intended to make learning and instructional theory more accessible to educators. This site lists the major theories that influence teaching and learning.
  • Students in South Africa assembled a web-based Who's Who in Instructional Technology.
