Applying

The master’s degree in Educational Foundations: Assessment & Evaluation is a graduate program of study, so the first step is to apply for admission to the Graduate School at The University of Akron.

If you are living in one of these states, you may complete this master's program online!

Admission Criteria

• Completed application to Graduate School (with official transcripts)
• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a 2.75 GPA, or 3.00 GPA for the last two years (64 semester credits or equivalent)

Graduate Assistantships

Graduate assistantships may be available through the Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership. New students may indicate on their online application for admission that they would like to be considered for an assistantship. Current students must contact their academic department for application information.

Each department may have different requirements for their assistantship applicants, so all students should contact their academic department to see what other requirements they may have to fulfill. All assistantships (and any fellowships) are awarded through the individual departments.  Applications and additional information can be found on the Graduate School website.
