The following are courses in the Postsecondary Teaching Certificate at the undergraduate level. Click on the course number to view the course syllabus.
| Postsecondary Learner Prerequisite: 401 or permission. Describes characteristics of the postsecondary learner and studies issues, factors, and strategies pertinent to successful facilitation of learning in a variety of postsecondary occupational learning environments. |

| Learning with Technology* Experiences in using, developing, and evaluating instructional technologies and media used for postsecondary education. |

| Workforce Education for Youth & Adults Prerequisite or corequisite: 401 or permission of the instructor. History and operations of current vocational education for youth and adults. Includes study of social, economic, and political influences that stimulate growth and expansion of vocational education. |

| Postsecondary Instructional Technology Prerequisite or corequisite: 401 or permission of the instructor. Experiences in using, developing, and evaluating instructional technologies and media used for technical instruction. |

Systematic Curriculum Design Prerequisite or corequisite: 401, 420, admission to program or permission of instructor. Procedure of breaking down an occupation to determine curriculum of their laboratory and classroom, developing this content into an organized sequence of instructional units. |

Selected topics in instructional techniques appropriate in postsecondary technical education. Emphasis on instructional methods, techniques in classroom, laboratory including tests, measurements. |

*Must be taken with or prior to the first Postsecondary Technical Education Courses.
**The Instructional Applications Seminar is the last course taken. This course cannot be taken until all other Certificate Courses have been completed with a 3.0 GPA or better.
