Marriage and Family Counseling Therapy programs attain 6-year accreditation
The Marriage and Family Counseling/ Therapy (MFC/T) programs through The University of Akron's College of Education have been reaccredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) for the next six years. They are the only dually accredited programs in Ohio training marriage and family counselors/ therapists and one of a few dually accredited marriage and family therapy programs in the nation.
