The Department of Counseling is home to four outstanding master's degree programs.

Classroom Guidance for Teachers
Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy
School Counseling

Each of these programs is accredited by their respective accrediting bodies: American Psychological Association (APA), the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).

This unique blending of programs has led to a mutual understanding and respect for the diversity within each of our mental health professions.

The diversity of programs offered in the Department of Counseling allows students to specialize in a particular profession that best fits their long-term professional career goals and their unique philosophy of mental health.
