Overall, the master's program in Classroom Guidance for Teachers is designed to enhance teachers' skills in basic counseling, prepares teachers to become student advocates, and enhance working relationships with school counselors. Undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75, BCI and FBI check, Department of Counseling supplemental application form, three letters of reference, group interview.
Placement Objectives for Graduates
This program is designed for current classroom teachers. Graduates continue their work as teachers in K-12 schools.
