Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens is the former country estate of F. A. Sieberling, the founder of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Open from April through December, Stan Hywet includes a 65-room manor house and more than 70 acres of artfully landscaped grounds. It is Akron’s only National Historic Landmark and is accredited by the American Association of Museums.

The Playhouse Square Center

Founded in 1915, The Cleveland Play House is America's first permanently established professional theater company. Karamu House, established in 1915, is one of the oldest continuously running African American Theaters in the United States.
