The Office of Student Teaching and Field Experience is composed of two separate "branches": the Student Teaching branch and the Field Experience branch. The Student Teaching branch serves students who are applying for or currently participating in student teaching, the capstone experience of their education program. The Field Experience branch serves students who are required to complete a field experience other than student teaching in an educational setting. Select the area below based on the type of experience you need.
The Office of Student Teaching and Field Experience is responsible for the placement and supervision of student teachers in area schools. Student teachers, cooperating teachers, and college supervisors are urged to follow the links within these pages for additional information and materials that will enhance the student teaching experience.
The roles of University Supervisor and Mentor Teacher are critical to the development and success of our students. On these pages are resources that will support you in your role.
