General Questions

How can I view my schedule, bill, books, etc.?

Students need to call the Computer Help Desk at (330) 972-6888 to get their UAnet ID and password. Then, students can login to ZipLine to view their schedule, bills, and required texts. In addition, refer to the “ZipLine Help” documents included in this orientation for detailed information and a step-by-step guide for all things ZipLine.

When do I need to meet with an adviser?

Advisers will come out and do their advising as a group. This will be scheduled for you and will take place either before or after class. For online students, advising is done electronically and you will receive information from your adviser at some point during your first semester.

What is a "PCD" and when do I need to sign mine?

“PCD” stands for “Program Course Description.” These documents will be filled out in your first semester when the advisers come to see you at your site (see above).

How do I know if I am registered for class?

Outreach staff registers all cohort students and sends an email to your UA address once each student has been registered. The exception to this will be the IT students, who will be responsible for registering themselves starting Spring 2012. As always, the Technical Education students will also be responsible for registering themselves.

I checked on ZipLine and I am not registered for class. Why?

Email Kelly Chaff with your name, ID, cohort, and location. In this email, specify the courses and term for which you should be registered.
