Allen Elementary in Canton, Ohio, is a professional development school working with the College of Education and the offices of Student Teaching & Field Experience and Professional Learning. After six months of hard work, the sixth grade class from Allen Elementary participates in a visit to The University of Akron for a fun-filled tour of the campus. The sixth graders earn this trip by completing a program aimed at setting goals and being an active participant in their school and community. This program helps to prepare students for a lifetime of learning by providing them with the tools they’ll need to be successful in school. Watch the videos below.
